Sunday Brunch at 10:00-1:00

Free will donations for the restoration of the bell
The First Baptist Church of Garden City was built in 1868. This building is listed in the Blue Earth County Historical Register as the oldest cement block building in Minnesota, cement blocks were manufactured on site. Although its doors are still open every Sunday morning for worship, it has been many years since we've heard the bell ring through the valley announcing these services. The congregation has plans in place to shingle the roof and restore the bell tower this spring at a cost of $25,000.
What a treasure and blessing to still have this building in our community.

(AS A JESTER OF FRIENDSHIP AND SUPPORT) Formerly Crane's will host a brunch in honor and celebration of this occasion.
We invite you to come and share your
pictures, laughter and memories of time spent in Garden City.
